Pancharangi movie review

 No doubt, South Indian movies make a good business in Southern part of India, as compared to Bollywood movies. Watching Kannada film 'Pancharangi' in theaters will be worth your money. The movie is based on a humorous love story. 


'' Director Yogaraj Bhat deserves all the credit for making magic on screen out of nothing in a special innovative way. The film starring Diganth and Nidhi Subbaiah in the lead roles highlights the duo's humorous acting and facial expressions.


The film boasts of Raju Talikote's comedy, Mano Murthy's music, Yogarj Bhat's dialogues and screenplay, Mayuri Upadhyaya's choreography, V Thyagarajan's camera work, and beautiful locations of coastal area.


'Pancharangi' is a simple story focusing on basic aspects of a human life in an Indian society like parents, friends, goals, success, failure, love, marriage, and kids.


The story revolves around a lazy boy (Diganth) and his feelings along with his love story. Along with his parents he goes to see a girl (Ramya Barna) for his brother (Pavan Kumar)'s marriage, who is a software professional in the US. 


There he meets girl's cousin Ambika (Nidhi Subbaiah), who is playing a role of a naughty girl. The equal nature and attitude brings the girl closer to the boy and she fell in love with him. The climax of the film pushes the audience into puzzle.


This time Diganth appears in unique get up revealing a lot of maturity in his performance, that is plus point for him to hold his fans' attention for some time. Similarly, actress Nidhi Subbaiah possesses the capability with her role to make an impact on the viewers. Movie looks dull void of comedy and Raju Talikote's performance successfully rocks the film.


South movies cannot be complete without songs and dance. The film boasts of two melodious music compositions like title track 'Are Re Pancharangi...' and 'Udisuve...’


Apart from the performances in the film, camera and the locations take the credit for attracting the audiences into the film. As the title of the film denotes five colours, the director has successfully justifies representing five aspects of life with colourful background.
