Just after few days TVS Electronics launched the first keyboard containing the Rupee sign on the key, Lava Mobiles has launched the first phone which comes with the new Rupee symbol.

The company has followed the Rupee symbol on its new device, Lava B5, for the first time in the mobile world, which was launched few weeks back. The new phone Lava B5 will carry with the new rupee sign on its ABCDE (alpha) keypad. The phone is priced at only Rs. 4.399.

The dual SIM phone from Lava, which comes with features like email, Opera mini, Nimbuzz, MSN, Skype, FM radio, Bluetooth, media player, 3.5mm headset jack and memory card support, now boasts of having Indian new Rupee symbol.
